On Feb. 2 you can see the groundhog in Punxsutawney, PA, but you might not see Edgewater, NJ-based multititle cataloger Hanover Direct on the American Stock Exchange. On Jan. 24 the parent company of International Male, The Company Store, and Domestications received a letter from the exchange stating that its listing and registration will be removed due to a failure to comply with the exchange’s filing requirements. The exchange could move to remove Hanover’s stock as early as Feb. 2.
The company could not be reached for comment. But Hanover has said that it will not appeal the decision. The company is examining other available trading alternatives for its common stock including the OTC Bulletin Board.
