Warren, PA—Blair Corp. will reincorporate its men’s casual apparel brand, Scandia Woods, back into its Blair Menswear catalog by next spring. The apparel and home goods mailer had been testing a stand-alone Scandia Woods catalog to target younger, more fashion-conscious male buyers, but the sluggish economy has persuaded Blair that now is not the time to support a spin-off. The company says it may try to relaunch the book in the future, once the economy improves. Blair’s other titles include women’s clothing catalog Crossing Pointe, which also targets customers who are younger than the company’s core mature buyers.
