Hunting, fishing, camping and related outdoor gear merchant Cabela’s has promoted six executives.
Patrick A. Snyder is now executive vice president/chief marketing officer. He had been senior vice president of merchandising and marketing. Cabela’s is consolidating responsibility for its e-commerce and catalog businesses under Snyder’s leadership.
Ralph W. Castner was named executive vice president/chief financial officer of Cabela’s and chairman of the board of World’s Foremost Bank. Castner had been vice president/chief financial officer of Cabela’s and chairman of the board of World’s Foremost Bank, Cabelas’ bank subsidiary.
Joseph M. Friebe was promoted to executive vice president of Cabela’s and president/CEO of World’s Foremost Bank. He was previously vice president of Cabela’s and president/CEO of World’s Foremost Bank.
Cabela’s promoted Charles Baldwin from vice president/chief human resources officer. Baldwin had been executive vice president/chief administrative officer. Michael Copeland was named executive vice president/chief operations officer. He previously served as the merchant’s vice president of retail operations.
And Brian J. Linneman was promoted from senior vice president of global supply chain and operations to executive vice president/chief merchandising officer.
Cabela’s also said that it plans to hire an executive vice president/chief supply chain officer. Linneman will be responsible for distribution/fulfillment and global sourcing in the interim.
