When you Unwrap a Gift, Do you Sniff the Wrapping Paper? Neither do we — usually — but then printer Concord Litho sent a few sheets of its candy-cane imprinted, peppermint-scented wrapping paper just before Christmas. It was quite handy, seeing as we were out of wrapping paper — and quite heady, as the scented varnish applied to the sheets was activated (and re-activated) each time we touched the paper. The fragrant finish was a fun novelty touch for giftwrap, but if used in a catalog, would it inspire a purchase? It might — it made us crave candy canes, anyway.
