Carter’s Names New EVP Supply Chain

Children’s apparel marketer Carter’s announced that Christopher W. Rork became the company’s executive vice president of supply chain on May 9.

Rork had worked at Levi Strauss & Co. since 2007. He had been based in Hong Kong, most recently with the title senior vice president, supply chain Asia. Previously, Rork held a variety of product development and supply chain positions with Ralph Lauren Childrenswear and Nickelodeon Stores.

He succeeds Charles E. Whetzel Jr., who retired from Carter’s after 19 years of service. Carter’s, which specializes in apparel for babies and young children, sells though wholesale, retail and mass channel segments.
