Fort Myers, FL–Aided by a 91% increase in catalog and Web sales, women’s apparel cataloger/retailer Chico’s FAS posted a 48% second-quarter net sales increase, For the three months ended Aug. 4, total revenue was $89.5 million, compared with $60.6 million a year ago. That increase in turn led to a 50% rise in net income, to $11.1 million from $7.4 million last year. Catalog and Web sales totaled $2.3 million for the quarter, compared with $203,123 last year.
