How would you describe your job and what you do?
General management, client nevelopment, new business development etc. etc. — what you do to run a division.
Why do you think you were chosen to be an MCM Awards judge?
Passion for and belief in the art form. 13 years of launching and managing catalogs / clients across all categories and sizes.
What direct marketing subject could you talk about all day?
Creative / Photography / Pagination / Typography
What excites you most outside the office?
Horticulture. I am a Master Gardener, am in my 3rd year of the Barnes Foundation Horticultural Studies, have a community garden and two city harvest plots — where we grow food for the poor (donated 985# last year!)and am getting involved with launching
What was your first job?
My very first job was growing and selling gourds to neighbors. But, my first real job was selling handbags at the Hens & Kelly Department Store in Buffalo where after each purchase you had to count out the appropriate number of green stamps for the customer.
