Corrections

  • In the January cover story “Senior manager,” we stated that Tom McIntyre was still president of Dr. Leonard’s Healthcare Corp.; McIntyre left the company in early 2008 shortly after it was acquired by AmeriMark Holdings.

  • The December article “Think inside the green box” stated that Astro-Foam Renew packing material is made from polystyrene scraps. Astro-Foam Renew does not contain polystyrene; it is made from low-density polyethylene.

Corrections

In “Here, or over there?” on p. 43 of our March 1 issue, we reported that Lands’ End’s sales from the U.K. were ñ40 million and its sales from Japan were ñ80 million. In fiscal 1998, sales from Lands’ Ends’ foreign-based operations in Japan, the U.K., and Germany were ñ132 million, about 10.4% of the company’s total net sales of ñ1.3 billion. The company does not report sales for the individual foreign markets.
