Dillard’s plans to close its Nashville distribution center — placing 125 employees out of work — according to published reports.
Dillard’s, which has six distribution facilities nationwide, opted to move its Nashville operations into a new facility near company headquarters in Little Rock, AR.
Company officials said the Nashville workers were offered transfers to other Dillard’s facilities. Those who do not accept new positions will be offered a severance package. The Nashville distribution center is scheduled to close this summer.
Dillard’s has operated a Nashville distribution center since 1998. The Nashville facility handled online purchases.
