New York—To boost registrations for its annual fall conference, the Direct Marketing Association said on Sept. 26 that it will pay for airfare to the conference, being held Oct. 27-31 in Chicago. The DMA’s airfare package is limited to travel within the continental U.S. and Canada on an American Airlines coach flight with a Saturday night stay. The offer is extended to those who register or registered for the conference between Sept. 11 and Oct. 5. Registrants who do not wish to stay over on Saturday can still get 50% off American’s best published fare.
Furthermore, the DMA has renegotiated hotel rates to reduce the rates published in the show’s brochure 20% per night at many of the conference hotels for all delegates registered after Sept. 11. The DMA is continuing to negotiate lower rates for those registered prior to that date. For information, contact the DMA at 877-517-3040.
