Dr. Seuss Roadster, Anyone?

Dallas—Few Americans feel like celebrating right now, but when they do, Neiman Marcus will be ready. The upscale cataloger/retailer has released the 75th anniversary version of its famed Christmas Book. First published in 1926 as a 16-page catalog intended as a holiday greeting to its best customers, the Christmas Book has traditionally offered unique luxury gifts for the holiday season.

Among the gifts in this year’s Christmas Book are two limited-edition items, for which all net proceeds benefit select charities: His and Hers Radio City Rockettes/NY Knicks Fantasy Experience ($10,000) and the Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Lexus SC 530 Convertible ($70,000). Other items include the Neiman Marcus Edition 430 Helicopter from Bell ($6.7 million), the “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” Roadster ($25,000), a gingerbread house replica of an actual home from New York’s Eleni’s Cookies ($4,000), a Time Past Fantasy Trip ($120,000 per couple), and an Indian Motorcycle ($24,500).
