FedEx’s Ground division on June 9 launched FedEx Consolidated Return Service, which provides a network of drop-off locations, return packaging for small items, and physical consolidation of multiple product returns to streamline returns processing. The service links merchants directly to the Memphis-based carrier, providing information about the returned item from the moment it is dropped off to the point of final delivery. The service is designed to help catalogers more accurately anticipate the delivery of returned items for greater control over returns inventory.
