Frederick’s of Hollywood Group has promoted Linda LoRe to president of the company. LoRe will continue as CEO of the Frederick’s of Hollywood retail division and a member of the apparel and lingerie merchant’s board of directors.
Melvyn Knigin will transition from his position as president/CEO of the Movie Star wholesale division to senior vice president of sales. He has resigned from the New York-based company’s board of directors.
Frederick’s of Hollywood Group reported earlier this month that it has named Thomas Lynch CEO. Lynch, formerly CEO of Fursa Alternative Strategies, had been a member of Frederick’s of Hollywood’s board of directors since January 2008.
The former president/CEO of Giorgio Beverly Hills, LoRe has been president/CEO of Frederick’s retail division since July 1999. She will now be responsible for merchandising, marketing and product development activities of the combined company.
