Fort Lauderdale, FL–Floral products retailer Gerald Stevens announced that it intends to sell Calyx & Corolla, a cataloger of fresh flowers, along with its Florafax floral wire service to Equity Resource Partners for $20 million in cash. Equity is led by Andrew W. Williams, chief operating officer of Gerald Stevens’s order generation division and a director of the company. The sale is expected to close next week. Gerald Stevens bought San Francisco-based Calyx & Corolla in June 1999.
