Shares of the initial public offering from Medford, OR-based Harry and David Holdings, the mailer of food gifts cataloger/retailer Harry and David and horticultural mailer Jackson & Perkins, will be offered at $13-$15 a share, according to published reports.
The IPO was announced in August. Formerly known as Bear Creek Corp., Harry and David Holdings was sold in June 2004 in a leveraged buyout led by New York-based private equity firm Wasserstein & Co. (the same firm that purchased Primedia Business, which publishes MULTICHANNEL MERCHANT).
Harry and David Holdings will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “HND.”
