Holliston, MA-based Harvard Bioscience, a manufacturer/marketer of tools for drug-discovery research, agreed to buy Genomic Solutions, another manufacturer of drug-discovery equipment. Harvard Bioscience will acquire the Ann Arbor, MI-based company for 3.2 million shares of its stock and $9 million in cash, for a total value of approximately $26 million.
