House to Discuss Fate of Internet Tax Moratorium

Washington—The House Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law plans to hold a hearing on June 26 to discuss extending the Internet Access Tax Moratorium beyond its Oct. 21 expiration date. The meeting, which will be held in the Rayburn House Office Building here, is likely to focus primarily on the fate of Internet access fees, although groups such as the Direct Marketing Association will push for a tax simplification plan as well.
