Hampstead, MD-based mens apparel cataloger/retailer Jos. A. Bank on Oct. 11 announced that it has signed on with TV home shopping channel QVC to launch a virtual storefront on QVC’s Website. The QVC store will sell more than 500 items. “This relationship will provide a unique shopping ‘store’ for our apparel brand,” said Bank CEO Robert Wildrick in a statement. “It is a significant extension of our multi-channel concept, especially our rapidly-expanding e-commerce business.”
Additionally, QVC said it would pitch a Jos. A. Bank line on its “PM Style” segment from 8pm-11pm ET on Oct. 11. The segment was to include Bank’s stain-resistant traveler line of cotton polos and khakis, as well as its wrinkle-free traveler dress shirt.
