Vernon Hills, IL-based Learning Resources, a manufacturer/marketer of educational products for classrooms and toys for the home, has acquired Safe-T Products and Extra Measures, manufacturers of hands-on learning products and tools for teaching math, art, and science.
Safe-T Products and Extra Measures, which are headquartered in Lombard, IL, sell to the school supply and specialty retail markets. “Safe-T Products and Extra Measures are two very successful franchises within the industry,” Learning Resources CEO Richard Woldenberg said in a statement. “With this important acquisition, Learning Resources will be able to broaden significantly its offering of hands-on learning products in the math and science areas, especially in the middle school and high school markets.”
