Boston–Chiasso president/CEO David Marshall has reason to smile: InStyle magazine named the Chicago-based cataloger/retailer’s online catalog Website of the Month. What’s more, business has been so strong, Chiasso is increasing its fall mailing to 3.5 million catalogs, up from 1 million last fall.
Patagonia’s Morlee Griswold, the cataloger/retailer’s director of direct marketing, says that Patagonia is prospecting via space ads for the first time in years. The company is advertising in upscale publications including The New York Times Magazine and Atlantic Monthly.
