Sears, Roebuck and Co.
has named Mindy Meads the new president/CEO of its Lands’ End division, effective Feb. 1. She replaces David Dyer, who left Sears and Lands’ End last year.
An 11-year veteran of the apparel and home goods cataloger, Meads is currently executive vice president of merchandising and design. She is also an executive vice president of Sears, a position she will continue to hold.
Meads has named her senior management team: Dennis Honan, chief operating officer; Bill Bass, senior vice president of e-commerce, Lands’ End, and vice president and general manager of Sears Customer Direct; Lisa Fitzgerald, senior vice president of merchandising (international, kids’, and home); Sid Mashburn, senior vice president of design; David McCreight, senior vice president of core merchandising (womens’, men’s, specialty apparel, and footwear); and Kelly Ritchie, senior vice president of employee services.
Lee Eisenberg, executive vice president /chief creative and administrative officer, will leave Lands’ End at the end of March to pursue other interests. A search is under way for a new creative/marketing executive.
