Thomas M. Rouen Jr., former executive vice president of ParceLite Solutions, a division of TMSi Logistics, in January was named president/chief operating officer as of TMSi Logistics.

Michael L. Gonzalez in January was promoted to chief executive officer of automated material handling and supply chain software provider HK Systems Inc. He was previously president/chief operating officer. John W. Splude will assume the position of executive chairman and will be responsible for the company’s domestic and international acquisition strategy and growing HK Production Logistics, a new subsidiary providing turn-key integrated warehousing and order fulfillment management solutions for organizations experiencing supply chain complexity.

Valerie Bonebrake, previously executive vice president of YRC Logistics, the logistics subsidiary of YRC Worldwide, has joined Tompkins Associates as senior vice president of global supply chain services.

Charles E. Sullivan has been appointed head of global operations at ProLogis, a provider of distribution facilities. Diane S. Paddison, chief operating officer, resigned to pursue other opportunities. Sullivan was most recently was managing director for ProLogis with overall responsibility for the company’s operations in North America.

James K. Commiskey
, previously senior vice president of Avnet Logistics, in January was appointed vice president of business development, automotive, at Pacer International’s Stacktrain Unit. Commiskey will be responsible for sales and coordinating the marketing effort for Pacer’s wholesale automotive product.
