Warehouse giant Sam’s Club is launching a 586-page office products catalog for its small business members. The catalog, available in stores and online, lets members shop via fax and online. Most orders will be delivered to small businesses customers the following day; members can also arrange to pick-up purchases in the store.
With the new office products catalog, which includes items such as paper clips, power supplies, glue sticks, and corkboards, Sam’s Club aims to help small business owners and managers cut operating costs and improve the ordering process by streamlining traditional offerings of competitors in the office products marketplace.
Bentonville, AR-based Sam’s Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores, says it will expand its retail offering of office products, including a dedicated store-within-a-store concept. The company also plans to enhance the online experience for business by including networking opportunities and business advice to help with the challenges of improving productivity, reducing costs, and boosting profits.
