Manhattan Beach, CA—As part of a cost-cutting initiative, footwear manufacturer/marketer Skechers USA is folding its print catalog and looking to outsource its e-commerce operations. The company, which primarily targets teens, also plans to reduce its staff by 5%.
Skechers’ total third-quarter net sales rose 40%, to $287.9 million from $205.7 million last year. But net earnings dipped 25%, to $11.4 million from $15.3 million.
