Vernon Hills, IL-based computer reseller CDW (Nasdaq: CDWC) registered a solid second quarter. For the three months ended June 30, total sales reached $1.63 billion, an increase of 6% over the $1.54 billion for the same period last year. Net income rose 9%, to $73.1 million. Direct Web sales rocketed up nearly 17%, to $493.5 million, accounting for more than 30% of total sales.
