Holiday shoppers graded their online shopping experiences this year a D-plus, according to a survey conducted by ForeSee Results. While 59% of the online shoppers said they were highly satisfied with the e-commerce experience, respondents overall gave it a mean score of 69 out of 100. The survey takes into account browsing capability, privacy, ease of returns, and other matters, adjusting for how significantly each component affects purchasing behavior and loyalty.
Despite the relatively low score, 71% of respondents said they’re likely to shop online for holiday 2003, and 69% said they’ll likely shop online within the next two months.
