Cloud-based solutions software Oracle NetSuite is the North American’s bid to serve the back office of the Brazilian fintech company that operates globally
CURITIBA AND SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL, Sept. 5, 2018 – Oracle NetSuite has started the process of integrating its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software into EBANX, global fintech company with Latin American DNA, that offers local payment solutions from Latin America to websites that sell internationally.
Like all Oracle NetSuite solutions, the management software is cloud-based and will contemplate the back office of EBANX´s operations. The Latin American fintech company currently has offices in Curitiba and São Paulo (Brazil), Montevideo (Uruguay), Mexico City (Mexico), and London (U.K.); commercial presence in the US and Asia; operations in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Ecuador; serves more than 500 enterprise and SMB merchants from regions such as Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America; besides having a base of over 37 million Latin American end users. Both the integration and the interaction with the management platform will involve several areas of EBANX, such as technology & development and financial.
“We are very proud to announce the hiring of our solutions by a fintech company with such robust global operations. By combining best governance practices with cutting-edge technologies, Oracle NetSuite offers a platform capable of supporting the natural changes that result from exponential growth, the type of growth that EBANX experiences”, said Gustavo Moussalli, Senior Director of NetSuite, Oracle Latin America.
Agility for exponential growth was just what EBANX was looking for in an ERP solution. “We were looking for a platform that would complement the high level of consistency and detailing that we already had at EBANX, adding speed. We aim for even more efficiency in our internal financial processes”, said Wagner Ruiz, EBANX co-founder and CFO.
Founded in Curitiba in 2012, EBANX is a global fintech company with Latin American DNA that bridges the gap between Latin American consumers and global products and services, by offering local payment solutions from Latin America to international websites. EBANX already connected more than 37 million end users from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Ecuador – countries where it currently operates – to more than 500 websites from different parts of the world, including Latin America itself, since its solutions also suit Latin American online merchants wanting to sell cross-border within the region. Among EBANX´s merchants, are AliExpress, Wish, and Udacity. With customer service and marketing consulting teams, the company goes beyond payment processing and becomes a complete market entry solution in Latin America. It recently raised a $30 million US dollars investment from FTV Capital, a US-based growth equity investment firm specialized in the payments industry.
