TSI Holding Launches Tokyo-Style App

TOKYO STYLE Mobile App Gives Consumers Access to Six Womenswear Brands

Tokyo, Japan – February 27, 2018 – TSI Holdings, a Japanese company managing a portfolio of leading apparel brands, announced today it has partnered with PredictSpring, a mobile commerce leader, to launch a mini-mall mobile app for TOKYO STYLE.

By integrating with PredictSpring and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, the TOKYO STYLE mobile app was able to go-to-market rapidly. The app was localized with the Japanese market in mind and allows consumers to shop from six different womenswear brands including Natural Beauty and PINKY&DIANNE, through a unified mobile experience. TSI Holdings oversees more than 1,300 stores mainly in Japan, and has 38 brands under its portfolio including HUF, New Balance Golf, Saint Andrews Links and Sunspel.

“‘Mobile First’ has been our strategic theme to reach customers,” said Matahiro Kashiwagi, Chief Digital Officer of TSI HOLDINGS. “We were looking for a mobile commerce partner that could deliver personalization and speed for our on-the-go customers. Not only is the PredictSpring platform fast and robust, but it caters to the specific needs of the Japanese market. We believe the speed of the app will have a great impact on sales and we look forward to launching four more apps with PredictSpring.”

Notable features of TSI Holding’s TOKYO STYLE consumer mobile app, powered by PredictSpring, include:

Barcode Scanning – Customers can scan the price tags of the products using the app in TOKYO STYLE stores and instantly add products to their wish list.

Intuitive Payment Methods – The app features an intuitive credit card scanner to eliminate the hassle of customers having to manually enter credit card information. In addition, customers can opt to pay upfront or pay upon delivery with either cash or credit card.

Customer Friendly Interface – Auto login supports face and touch ID, which eliminates the process of customers having to manually login to the app.

Loyalty Program – The app includes the TOKYO STYLE loyalty program, which links to the customer’s online profile. Customers can earn points with every purchase, which count toward rewards that can be applied as a discount for future purchases.

“This was an exciting milestone and partnership for PredictSpring – both in partnering with TSI Holdings and launching our first customer in Japan,” said Nitin Mangtani, Founder and CEO of PredictSpring. “With TOKYO STYLE, the mini-mall mobile app delivers an all-in-one shopping experience that is visually rich and offers customers easy browsing and fast checkout.”

The TOKYO STYLE app is available to download now for iPhone in the Apple App Store.
