New York, Oct. 30, 2020 — VTEX, the world’s first and only fully integrated commerce-marketplace-OMS solution, today announced it is working with Loop Integration (Loop), the leader in defining and implementing ecommerce strategy and solutions, to power Project N95’s marketplace, which distributes critical personal protective equipment (PPE) to frontline healthcare workers and vulnerable communities.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to leave the U.S. with a depleted stockpile of essential PPE, frontline healthcare workers are looking for fast and reliable ways to find the supplies they need. VTEX’s order management system (OMS), inventory and fulfillment capabilities will empower Project N95 to quickly distribute essential equipment and enable workers to return to the critical roles they play in their communities.
By moving their marketplace to VTEX, and leveraging Loop’s expertise, Project N95 can now improve the buyer experience and internal efficiencies. The move also allows Project N95 to handle more group orders simultaneously, permitting the marketplace to serve more people and scale faster.
“By building a network of PPE distribution, Project N95 is rising to the occasion of an urgent need,” said Amit Shah, chief strategy officer and U.S. general manager at VTEX. “VTEX is proud to empower Project N95’s mission of delivering critical equipment to frontline workers quickly. By offloading the work of order management, inventory and fulfillment, we aim to equip Project N95 with what it needs to continue its impactful work and help our communities.”
The migration ultimately enables both Project N95 and its customers to more closely focus on their missions, without having to concentrate on backend operations.
“We chose VTEX and Loop as partners because of their agility, speed to market and track record in delivering quality commerce solutions,” said Anne Miller, executive director at Project N95. “VTEX offers much of what we need with its marketplace capability and Loop can tailor and customize VTEX to fit our needs. We are grateful to both companies for making it possible for us to access a top-tier solution that will help us provide critical PPE to more frontline workers and vulnerable communities.”
Loop Integration, the enterprise e-commerce consultancy for U.S. and global brands, and VTEX partner, supported the launch of Project N95’s new marketplace.
“We’re excited to apply our skills and expertise in support of ProjectN 95 and the fight against COVID-19,” said Loop CEO Joe Woods. “We expect to be live with the first release in four weeks, which will be a tremendous result for all parties.”
