He will be responsible for overseeing the company’s fulfillment, sourcing, inventory planning, merchandise operations, and transportation.
Jacksonville, FL-based cataloger Interline Brands appointed John Kane and Barry Goldstein to its board of directors. Kane served as the president, chief operating officer, and board member of Cardinal Health from 1993 until his retirement in 2001. Goldstein served as chief financial officer of Office Depot from 1987 until his retirement as executive vice president and chief financial officer in 2000.
Heber, UT-based e-cataloger Backcountry.com appointed Jim Kane chief technology officer. Previously an executive with Answerthink, Kane will be responsible for all technical operations ranging from the storefront to communications, and network infrastructure.
