As Kickstarter-funded premium underwear provider Comfortable Club starting expanding its sales channels to include Amazon as a marketplace seller as well as using its Fulfillment by Amazon service, inventory management and visibility across channels started to become a serious issue.
“Amazon as a selling channel was working beautifully, with orders coming in and being fulfilled,” said Miguel Madrid, founder of Comfortable Club. “But when we added FBA to fulfill our .com orders it created a level of complexity in terms of managing channels beyond what I could handle.”
Madrid, himself the “we” of Comfortable Club, decided to use Stitch Labs as the centralized hub for all order management across channels. It sits in the middle of the ecosystem with connections to the Shopify storefront, marketplace channels and FBA, Quickbooks for financials and DCL Logistics for order fulfillment.

“I’m a one-man operation managing 180 SKUs and 75,000 items in stock,” he said. “In choosing my platform, I needed something that would automate all the processes, so I could stay a one-man show, with absolutely no one else. That’s the beauty of it. With Stitch Labs I was able to tick off all those boxes.”
In addition, Madrid follows four basic principles to drive the growth and success of Comfortable Club: technology integration; centralized operations and business data; automated workflows; and inventory access across all channels and locations.
Madrid and Jake Gasaway, co-founder and vice president of platform for Stitch Labs, will talk about Comfortable Club’s experience in a Multichannel Merchant webinar, “Gaining Inventory Visibility in an Omnichannel World,” at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 23.
