The irony of New England off-price closeout retailer Building 19’s demise is that it started off in 1964 as a merchant that took advantage of other merchant’s misfortunes and failures.

Amazon Raises Free Shipping Minimum to $35

eBay Acquires Shutl to Beef Up Same-day Delivery

eBay has acquired U.K.-based same-day delivery courier service Shutl, and will use the acquisition to boost its eBay Now to 25 markets by the end of 2014. Financial terms of the Oct. 22 deal have not been disclosed.
