Best Buy Online Sales Sees Growth in First Quarter

Best Buy reported a 16% jump in domestic online sales for the first quarter which ended May 4 compared to last year’s first quarter. According to president and CEO Hubert Joly, the company continues to make substantial progress with its Renew Blue priorities, according to a press release on BestBuy.com.

Amazon Tops Walmart in Brand Ranking

Amazon topped Walmart with a brand value of $45.7 billion and saw its value grow by 34% while Walmart grew by 5% to $36.2 billion in a top brand ranking, according to an article on AdAge.com. The ranking done by BrandZ Ranking, credits Amazon’s operational swiftness for its financial success.
