The calendar says it’s barely fall, but the team at Multichannel Merchant has been busy putting together another great Ecommerce Operations Summit program for next spring in wonderful Orlando, FL.
The event, now in its ninth year, will be held April 14-16, 2020 at the Marriott Orlando World Center. It will feature major brands and key topics designed to help operations and fulfillment professionals in retail, ecommerce and D2C by providing actionable information and takeaway tools you can use.
The agenda for next year has been expanded to include new “mini-tracks” covering hot topics in e-grocery and robotics, and we’ll once again feature our popular Women in Operations program. As always, there will be plenty of great content covering what you need to know in fulfillment center operations, shipping and delivery, omnichannel and the customer experience.
In terms of keynote presentations, we have two great speakers on tap who will share their experience and insights gleaned from running major supply chain divisions:
- Willis Weirich, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Operations for Neiman Marcus, will talk about how the omnichannel supply chain is evolving to support the customer experience and the customer journey, not the other way around.
- Rick Bingle, Senior Vice President of Supply Chain for REI, will use real-world examples from his career to unpack how supply chain logistics need to move beyond standard performance KPIs and an image as a cost center to that of a revenue and even margin driver.
Our preconference workshops in Orlando will go in depth on the block-and-tackle fundamentals of operations and fulfillment, best practices on carrier negotiations, the customer experience A-Z and a new workshop on the critical, growing area of managing ecommerce returns.
Stay tuned for more announcements in the next few weeks, including a packed session list and exciting new networking opportunities!
