Back-to-School and College Spending Expected to Reach $82.8 Billion

Total back-to-school spending for children in K-12 and college combined is projected to reach $82.8 billion this year, down from $83.6 billion in 2017, according to the National Retail Federation’s annual survey, which was conducted with research partner Prosper Insights & Analytics.
